Inspiration to Mars

What if in your short film you could go to Mars, film a rocket launch, and go to a futuristic space port…while never leaving the studio? “Inspiration to Mars” is the vision of Director Steve Martin, who was inspired by his wife’s involvement in the space program. The advent of virtual production using Unreal Engine and green screen at Green Slate Studios made the film possible. It was also done to showcase Omni Productions creative capabilities using this new technology. Unreal environments, including rocket, were created by Terasynth, an Orlando-based AR/XR and AI technology company.
