Omni and Green Slate Studios combine green screen, Ultimatte based advanced keying, Unreal Engine and camera tracking to integrate live subjects with virtual environments.
The result can range from a realistic corporate set to an environment that would be difficult, expensive or impossible to create conventionally. Just as important, virtual production can let a team create multiple looks in one controlled studio day.
Virtual production is not automatically the best choice for every project. We look at the content, desired look, camera movement, schedule, budget and post-production needs first. When it fits, virtual production can expand creative options, reduce location and set-build requirements, and make complex visual ideas more practical.
